1. Take in adequate amounts of water.

While you sleep, you body’s metabolic rate drops significantly, given that you don’t have the need for a whole lot of energy while getting some shut-eye. (Do you understand now why they suggest to not eat big dinners prior to sleeping?) Your body spends the night doing everything else except digestion so it’s your task to refuel and boost your rested body the instant you wake up. Eggs are a satisfying breakfast menu item. You can create an omelet with your favorite produce items, a sprinkle of cheese or perhaps one with ham or sausage. The protein from the eggs and meat will keep you full and pumped all the way until lunch time. Have it with with fresh squeezed orange juice and you’ll be ready to attack anything that day! If you fill up on sugary cereals and boxed breakfast foods, you’ll be almost guaranteed to feel in a daze and hungry all morning.

3. Eat Small-Portioned Meals and Eat Them Quite Often.

It takes around 3 hours for food to be thoroughly digested so your agenda should be to eat a small nourishing meal (or snack) every 3 hours or so - BEFORE you get hungry once more. This way your body will be frequently nourished.

This works the same as the water process. If you’re depriving yourself, your body will store all it can to go on. If you continue to give it the adequate vitamins and minerals with the suitable foods, you will change your body into a fat burning machine and maximize your metabolism in no time.

These "right" foods comprise of "negative calorie foods" like fruits and vegetables. A wholesome snack that would satisfy a sweet and salty craving would be celery sticks topped with chunky peanut butter and dried cranberries.
